Des nichoirs à hirondelle de fenêtre occupés chez Auguste Samson à Omonville-la-Petite/50, photographiés en septembre 1973 (stage à Theurtéville-Hague, 8 & 9 septembre 1973)
Auguste préparait la base en dessinant le contour sur une planchette à l'aide de petits clous, puis sur cette base, il posait des boulettes d'argile qui servaient à stimuler la construction.
Auguste Samson, agriculteur de la Hague, apparaît dans les chroniques ornithologiques du Cormoran dès le n° 3 (septembre 1968- février 1969). Il est l'un des observateurs qui fournira des informations rapportées par Jacques Alamargot dans sa thèse pour le doctorat vétérinaire publiée en 1970.
Auguste est encore actuellement adhérent au GONm.
