Ces têtards ont un aspect un peu "hors contexte" actuellement (encore que la proximité immédiate de la lisière du bosquet leur donne une valeur territoriale par exemple pour les mésanges qui les utilisent déjà). Suivant les essences (peuplier, chêne, ...) leur durée de vie (debout) sera variable, mais la SPEN devant gérer sur plusieurs décennies ce site industriel, la pérennité de ces troncs debout est assurée pour longtemps, ou plus exactement le cycle de transformation du bois mort aura le temps de s'accomplir. Pour l'instant, un territoire de pipit des arbres profite de l'aubaine. Il est prévu de laisser s'installer des buissons "en ligne" entre les troncs pour compléter cet espace.
